The fish farm is over an area of about 5 hectares and its facilities are fed exclusively with artesian and deep well water.

The fish farm has the following breeding facilities:

N° 17 earthen ponds 500 to 2000 m2 for a total of about 20.000 m2

N° 15 fibreglass and concrete circular tanks 6m diameter

Inside a greenhouse of 3.200 m 2 there are:

		10 fibreglass and concrete circular tanks 6m diameter
		75 fibreglass rectangular tanks 4x1x1m
		60 fibreglass rectangular tanks 4x2x1m
		50 fibreglass circular tanks 1,5m diameter
		2 10x4x1m and 20x4x1m concrete basins

Well water temperature is between 13,5 and 14,0 °C all the year while the one of the upwelling small lake varies between 21 e 7 °C (summer to winter).

The facility in the greenhouse is composed by various separated recirculating hydraulic circuits provided with mechanical and biological filters. Modularity and flexibilty of the design is allowing to modify water temperature and photo period not ambient light to adapt them to the optimum for the reared organisms, to be able to pre-condition the breeders or to perform applied research programs.
